Foreign Journey has been active since 2015. The group led by Erik Simard (guitarist), has performed in Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and even in France.

After more than 100 indoor shows, festivals and some very select locations, the band now feels very well surrounded to develop bigger projects for the group.

Even if the group bears the tribute label, Erik never had the vision of offering a complete and perfect copy of the repertoire of these 2 groups, but of interpreting in a masterful way, thanks to the talent of the musicians present, the best hits and classics with a search for the best show versions, because according to him this is "where it happens".

But with the arrival of Stéphane Beaumont as singer, who has a voice very similar to Steve Perry, the experience is now much closer to reality.

For Foreign Journey everything involves the show experience which is intended to be electrifying and very participatory. This is what the main thing people who attend our shows remember about it.

It is therefore very difficult according to Erik to find people not only capable of reproducing the playing of these more than experienced musicians (Neil Schon, Steve Smith, Jonathan Cain, Dean Castronovo, Mick Jones, Dennis Elliot and of course Lou Gramm and Steve Perry) but it is even more difficult to find people able to deliver the right energy to enable a show of such intensity.

The evolution of Foreign Journey now involves the production of bigger shows, but also the addition of compositions in exactly the same musical style. People are very nostalgic for this music. Good Rock signed by catchy riffs and vocal and instrumental melodies that transport us.

What Foreign Journey promises you is an evening full of energy and very well played music full of emotion.
